FUTURE HEADS

As part of the Hackney Showroom ‘Futureheads’ Summer holiday programme we delivered a week of workshops exploring the idea of ‘Art as Protest’ working with a large group of 20 children 6-12 years old we focused on the building blocks of the ideas of what protest means by creating communal work together each day with emphasis on stickering, lettering, collage and illustration skills. The children created an abundance of work throughout the week and presented their ideas back to the group after each task gaining in skills and confidence with each day, much fun was had by all.
